Audiowalk: Brachland Weißensee

Am 4. September 2022 seid ihr herzlich eingeladen zum Walk und zur Präsentation des Projekts “BRACHLAND” von Katya Romanova.

In diesem Audiowalk bringen uns verschiedene Protagonist.innen aus dem Kiez auf eine Fantasiereise durch Stadtbrachen und erzählen, wie sie diese in ihre Spielräume verwandelt haben. Sie nehmen uns mit zu einer Paradiesinsel und einem verwilderten Abenteuerplatz, laden uns auf einen Drink in ihrer Lieblingskneipe ein, zeigen uns einen Kriegsbunker und begleiten uns auf einer Kunstsafari durch ein Industrieareal. An diesen Orten erleben wir die Freiheit – wenn auch nur für kurze Zeit – uns alles Mögliche vorzustellen, was wir wollen.

Der Audiowalk steht ab dem 26. August 2022 auf der Guidemate-Website zur Verfügung. „Das Brachland“ produziert von Katya Romanova im Rahmen der Bachelorarbeit an der HTW Berlin 2022 mit freundlicher Unterstützung des KIEZ:MOBIL Projektes.

On September 4, 2022 you are invited to join the test walk and launch of the BRACHLAND project produced by Katya Romanova.

In this audiowalk we are going on a fantasy journey with protagonists from the neighbourhood who have rediscovered abandoned places and turned them into their experimental playgrounds. They take us on a post-reunification art safari, invite us for a drink in their favourite pub, lead us through the rubble of post-war Berlin, and show us the enchanted island and wild playground of Weißensee. In these places, we experience freedom – even if only for a short time – to imagine anything we want.

The audio walk is available on the Guidemate App from August 26, 2022. “Das Brachland” is produced by Katya Romanova as part of her bachelor thesis at HTW Berlin, 2022 with the kind support of the KIEZ:MOBIL project.

DETAILS:

Treffort und Start 16:00 Uhr im C*SPACE (Langhansstraße 86, 13086, Berlin). Als Willkommen gibt es eine kleine Musikperformance, kommt pünktlich! Um 16:30 Uhr laufen wir los. Ende ca. gegen 19:00 mit anschließendem Ausklang mit Drinks und Talks in “Die Imaginäre Sonnenuntergangs-Bar” von Weißensee. Bitte bringt Wasser und Kopfhörer mit und denkt an bequeme Schuhe. Die Strecke ist nicht barrierefrei.

We meet at 16:00 at C*SPACE (Langhansstraße 86, 13086, Berlin), with a welcome music performance and tea. Start of the guided walk at 16:30, finish at around 19:00 with drinks and talks at ‘The Imaginary Sunset Bar of Weißensee’. Prior registration at kiezmobil@c-space.eu is welcome. Please bring water and earphones, and make sure to wear comfortable shoes. The route is not barrier-free.
